Many candidates recently have been asking if JAMB has started giving admission to 2020 UTME/DE candidates. This may be connected to the recent news from JAMB concerning candidates who are yet to accept their admission on the JAMB CAPS portal.

To clear your doubt, JAMB has NOT started giving admission to 2020 UTME/DE candidates. However, According to JAMB, admission for 2020 candidates will commence as soon as NECO exams have been concluded.
So all 2020 UTME/DE candidates are advised to calm down as JAMB has not even begun the admission process for 2020.
Though some schools have started giving admission to candidates, however, such admission must still go through JAMB and be uploaded on JAMB CAPS to be valid. So this means that the admission process has already commenced. But JAMB is yet to enable the 2020 JAMB CAPS.
Please note that JAMB can only give you admission after your school has recommended your name to JAMB for admission. We, therefore, advise all admission seekers for the 2020 session to relax and wait for JAMB to enable the 2020 JAMB CAPS.
